Some of the residents of Burrell Park will be celebrating in style – by dressing as residents did back in 1924.

Burrell Park was a working class neighborhood. Burrell Park was one of the first affordable housing projects in the City of San Jose. The average home price in 1924 was $4,000. Residents worked as barbers, butchers, sales associates, and teachers.
